Pink Fortress was founded on two primary (pink) philosophies, 'pink is the new black' and always 'build it pink'. 

What does it mean to build it pink? For us at Pink Fortress it means putting as much life and colour into our builds as we do into out own homes. It means always having our ears and eyes open to emerging strategies and the needs of our ground and planet, and it means never compromising on our core values. We understand sometimes that might mean bucking trends, and it might mean taking the harder path.

Pink Fortress was founded in 2007, and particularly in a male dominated industry, we want to communicate to our collaborators and clients that we’re unafraid to stand out, to build our own path, and nothing does that better than pink. 

For every property we develop or manage, we first consider the position of the person whose home it will become. We look at how to honour the history of a site, restore historic property when possible, and always consider both the people and the earth that will share our space.

We constantly re-evaluate what it means to be pink: and that’s where we believe 'pink is the new black' comes into focus. We believe our value-led approach should be the standard. It is an immense privilege to be able to build on our planet, and we hope, as the industry continues to develop, the values that drive us here at PF won’t stand out the way our pink high-vis jackets do, but instead become the new default.
